Readers who enjoyed Rebecca’s Promise will eagerly devour the next entry in this Amish series set in southern Ohio.

Rebecca Keim returns to Wheat Ridge full of resolve to make her relationship with John Miller work. But in her absence, John has become suspicious of the woman he loves. Before their conflict can be resolved, John is badly injured and Rebecca is sent back to Milroy to aid her seriously ill Aunt Leona.

In Milroy, Rebecca once again visits the old covered bridge over the Flatrock River, the source of her past memories and of her promise made so long ago.

Where will Rebecca find happiness? In Wheat Ridge with John, the man she has agreed to marry...or should she stake her future on the memory that persists...and the ring she has never forgotten? Does God have a perfect will for Rebecca—and if so how can she know that will?

Editorial Reviews

“This was a great sequel to Rebecca’s Promise.   Eicher does another fine job developing a faith-based love story set in Amish, Ohio where the characters become your friends and you don't want to put the book down!”

“I enjoyed rejoining Rebecca in Rebecca’s Return. For me, it was somewhat like catching up with an old friend to see how she was doing.”
RelzReviewz.blogspot.com

“I didn’t have the opportunity to read book one of this trilogy, Rebecca’s Promise but no matter, I soon caught up with what must have happened and was involved with the ongoing story. I so enjoy the stories from various authors of life in the Amish communities. The Amish commitment to their beliefs shines through their lives as a background to whatever story the author is weaving. In this book, Rebecca has returned from a visit to where she used to live, and she and John, newly engaged have a misunderstanding. On his way home John has an accident which leaves him unconscious and maybe with brain injuries.

“The different strands of the story continue to a satisfactory ending but with questions that need answering. We’ll have to wait till January 2010 for Book Three, Rebecca’s Choice for those answers.”

Rebecca's Return is packed full of drama, suspense, romance and life lessons. I found myself unable to put it down because I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen. The characters in these books seem so vivid and real like people I actually know.”

Reader Reviews

“I have just finished Rebecca's Promise yesterday. Today I began Rebecca's Return and could not put it down until nine chapters later. I am about to pick it up again and read until I fall asleep. To be honest I am not a big reader but I am so excited about the third book and can't wait to finish the whole story! I absolutely love learning more about the Amish through Jerry Eicher's writings as well. He does such a great job as a narrative author and an informative author as well.”

“I read Rebecca's Promise and Rebecca's Return. I can't wait for Rebecca's Choice I bet it's going to be awesome like all the others. I hope you will write another book.”
—Samantha

“Jerry Eicher brings us back to Rebecca's story, with book 2 in the trilogy: Rebecca's Return. This book, if possible, is better than the first. This story of Rebecca, is, again, filled with faith, love, secrets, promises and hope. I don't want to give away any spoiler's of this book, so I will keep my review short. I loved being able to visit with my wonderful Amish friends again, and being there the help them and pray for them.”
