How can I contact an author?
Please know that you can contact authors via these means, but a response will depend on the author's schedule and availability. Thank you for understanding. Harvest House has a policy of not releasing the address or phone numbers of authors unless they are public ministry contacts. You can reach an author these three ways:

1. Check the page of the specific author you wish to reach
on this site. If the author has a web site, you will find
the link here.

2. Submit comments using our form.
We will forward your email.

3. Use postal mail and we will forward your letter:
Author Name
C/O Harvest House Publisher

You can look books by Title, Author, Series, Keywords, or ISBN on our Search Page.

How do I request copyright permission to excerpt a product for copying, printing or web site purposes?

Does Harvest House Publishers accept manuscript submissions?

Harvest House no longer accepts or reviews any unsolicited queries, proposals, or manuscripts.

If you would like to receive a thorough evaluation of your book proposal or manuscript, we recommend HonestEditing. When you submit your book proposal and two sample chapters, you will receive a two- to four-page evaluation from a professional editor within ten business days. Your evaluation will tell you what you're doing right, what you're doing wrong, and what can be improved. It will also give you a number of practical recommendations and cutting-edge tools you can use right away. Visit their website at www.honestediting.com

We also recommend that new authors check out PartnerPublishers™, a custom publishing service that works primarily with new authors in a partnership to get their books published. While PartnerPublishers™ is a full-service Christian publisher, their main calling is to mentor new authors and help them get launched. Most of their authors are referred by major publishing houses, like Harvest House, who see potential in a project but are unable to publish the author's manuscript at this time. We think PartnerPublishers™ is a great way for selected authors to get their writing career launched. Visit their website at www.partnerpublishers.com.

As a member of the Evangelical Christian Publishers Association, we are pleased to recommend Christian Manuscript Submissions, the primary source for unsolicited manuscripts, at www.ChristianManuscriptSubmissions.com. They can also be reached via email at info@christianmanuscriptsubmissions.com. We think you will find this to be a cost-effective way to share your proposal with the member publishers of ECPA.

Another service available is The Writer's Edge, a manuscript screening service for Christian publishers to review proposals by aspiring writers. You can contact them by mail at PO Box 1266, Wheaton, IL. 60189; by email at info@writersedgeservice.com; or through their website located at www.WritersEdgeService.com. Please note that if you choose to post your material on a manuscript review website, it is not necessary to contact us. If we are interested in your project, we will notify you.

Sally Stuart's book The Christian Writer's Market Guide (published by Harold Shaw Publishers) is another valuable help when searching for the right publishing house. It also contains a list of literary agents. To purchase a copy, simply email stuartcwmg@aol.com or write to Sally E. Stuart, 1647 SW Pheasant Dr., Aloha, OR. 97006-3811.

Does Harvest House Publishers accept art submissions?

Harvest House does not accept unsolicited art submissions.

How do I find out about employment opportunities with HH?
For current Employment Opportunities, see our employment page.

What do I do if I find a text error in a book?
If you find a mistake in one of our books, please submit your helpful concerns to: Book Corrections.

Who do I contact with web site suggestions or questions?
We're happy you'd take the time to give us your feedback. Please email comments webmaster@harvesthousepublishers.com.
